Caja and auto-mounting DVDs

Hi all,

today I observed a new/peculiar phenomen with Caja...

Can people running Caja from Debian jessie please test, if  
automounting of data DVDs and video DVDs still works?

The default settings for a new user should be that when inserting a  
video DVD while a MATE desktop session is running, a dialog window  
pops up and queries the user for the next action for this inserted DVD.

With a locally deployed school system, the behaviour has now changed.  
The DVD is only auto-mounted when I browse it via Caja file manager  
windows (under Devices).

Is it possible that the recently added  
no-automounts-while-screensaver-is-on patch in Caja has broken this  
auto-mounting feature (for a running / unlocked session)?

Any feedback / observations is/are welcome...
