As the above referenced file is _not_ a configuration file (in /etc),  
it will, of course, be overwritten on upgrades.

I presume that your are trying to achieve something that people would  
to with gscheme.override files [1].

Please join #debian-mate on IRC (OFTC, irc.debian.org) to retrieve  
further help with this. I close this bug with this mail and tag it  
with the "wontfix" tag.
