should mate also package xdgmenus ?

Hi all,

See Paul Wise's (pabs) e-mail about xdgmenus

https://lists.debian.org/debian-devel-games/2015/11/msg00003.html

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xdg-menu

While I don't think he was calling somebody out but it seems from the
archlinux.org list it's only mate which doesn't follow the xdg menu
standard, or at least has support for it.

The gist I got is that using xdg-menu there would be a consistent menu
for one and all, so people like me who kept shifting between different
desktop environments could still be functional in any desktop
environment apart from any other use-cases.

Comments please.
