Package: mate-menus
Version: 1.10.0-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?

MATE (including mate-terminal) is installed, and xterm package is not installed.
Programs which can run in terminal (e.g. Emacs, Vim or Ipython)

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Select in the menu one of the entries that requires a terminal, like
'GNU Emacs 24 (Terminal)'
'Vim'
'ipython'

   * What was the outcome of this action?

The application fails to start and an error message box appears with the message
Could not launch 'GNU Emacs 24 (Terminal)'
Failed to execute child process "xterm" (No such file or directory)

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

The application is started using '/usr/bin/x-terminal-emulator' instead of missing xterm
