Of course you can. You just have to use a screenshot tool that allows
you to take the screenshot after a preset delay, e.g. GIMP. See my
attached screenshot which I just created with GIMP.

You should log in with an English locale before reporting bugs. This
avoids issues with translated text in bug trackers.

There is no such thing as MATE 10.x. Only 1.10 and 1.12.

All these things work fine here. I suspect a configuration issue on
your side. Could you try creating a new test user and logging in
with this user instead?
