- Using GIMP I got a screenshot (attached)

- I am not running Mint, I am running Debian testing
$ cat /etc/issue
Debian GNU/Linux stretch/sid \n \l

- I have created another user, named as 'tes't. Logged into his brand
new session. And I got the exact same result, i.e. the shutdown entry is
missing.
Here is his 'id' report that I saved in his session :
$ cat /home/test/id_test.txt
uid=1001(test) gid=1001(test) groupes=1001(test)

- Here is my current account 'id' report
$ id
uid=1000(jak) gid=1000(jak)
groupes=1000(jak),20(dialout),27(sudo),29(audio),111(fuse),112(vboxusers),128(davfs2),999(docker)
