Bug#851305: onboard doesn't show any information in mate-session-properties

I am no coder but I am open to doing that but need to know how to go
about doing that ?

I tried few things -

a. git clone https://anonscm.debian.org/git/pkg-mate/onboard.git

It gave me all debian-specific bits but nothing about onboard itself.

b. apt-get source onboard

I was able to get onboard-1.3.0  onboard_1.3.0-1.debian.tar.xz
onboard_1.3.0-1.dsc  onboard_1.3.0.orig.tar.gz

and was able to see where onboard-autostart.desktop is -

┌─[shirish at debian] - [~/onboard-debian/onboard-1.3.0/data] - [10148]
└─[$] ls

layoutstrings.py           onboard.desktop.in           org.onboard.gschema.xml
onboard-autostart.desktop  onboard-settings.desktop.in
org.onboard.Onboard.service

I have no idea whether it's just a case of simply flipping from
NoDisplay=true to NoDisplay=false in onboard-autostart.desktop or
would need more.

I did check https://github.com/mate-desktop to see if there was a
separate onboard repository mirroed there but there isn't/wasn't.

The only commands I know are -

git clone $something
cd $something
leafpad $something/$somefile
git commit $somefile
git format-patch -1

But have no idea how do I proceed further.

Any ideas anybody ?
