   * What led up to the situation?

Opening a pdf file with atril, left sidebar set to show the little
preview thumbnails for every page

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?

Scrolling up and down in the sidebar (which shows two columns of thumbnails
on my screen, as I cannot resize it to a smaller size: #860160)

   * What was the outcome of this action?

Sometimes all thumbnails just disappear. It does not alyways happen, but
very often. The thumbnails do not appear again, the sidebar just stays
empty. When keeping on scrolling, the thumbnails re-appear sometimes.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

Correctly loading and displaying the thumbnails
