Package: mate-applets
Version: 1.16.0-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
I have also recently noticed the Weather Report applet spams the screen with notifications, from time to time.
This issue appears to be random. Lowing the update time from 30m to 1m
has made the spam never happen. I then added around ~16 weather applets
(from 2) each running at 1 update per minute and I've only seen the spam
once. This leads me to think that their is some correlation between
update speed and chance of spam.
