Quick double-clicking with right mouse button can freeze Xorg in a way that
keyboard and mouse input will be blocked for the whole MATE session. To get
things back to normal, you'll have to switch to system console via Ctrl-Alt-F1,
log in and kill the mate-terminal process.
See the linked upstream bug for more info and reports from the users. This
isn't always reproducible on the first try, sometimes you'll need several
tries in a row, but eventually it happens.
This issue had been fixed upstream in version 1.16.3. Please upload it.
