MATE Terminal bug in Debian Stretch 64bit

Hello, Debian World! :)

Looks like there is a strange bug in MATE Terminal in Debian Stretch 64bit.

After installation I always set MATE Terminal to show bold text in the
*Preferences* (http://0x0.st/sBma.png) as well as a *custom color
scheme* (http://0x0.st/sBmM.png). My system's /Fixed width font/ is set
to Terminus for the terminal (MATE -> Preferences -> Appearance -> Fonts
tab).

In Debian 9 *32bit* when I select files in Midnight Commander with
Insert button they become *yellow* + directories are in a *bold* font.
This is a normal and predictable behaviour: http://0x0.st/sBBn.png

Recently I installed Debian 9 *64bit* and after setting the same
preferences the selected files become *red* (and most of the time it's
really difficult to distinguish them since some elements and other file
types can be red in Midnight Commander too) + directories are *not
bold*: http://0x0.st/sBBd.png

I've tried different skins and color schemes in Midnight Commander but
it doesn't really help. I just want the default scheme (yellow selected
files and bold directories) back.

Just wondering if it's a feature or a bug and where should I report :)

Thank you!
