The description showed by apt-cache says that
"The MATE Desktop Environment, a non-intuitive and unattractive desktop
 for users, using traditional computing desktop metaphor."

against the description from http://www.mate-desktop.org/ says :

"It provides an intuitive and attractive desktop environment using 
 traditional metaphors"...

So the package description is non neutral.
Let to the users the appreciation on this environment.
This package description is subjective.

I think that it should be modified to a neutral sense.
