Package: mate-notification-daemon
Version: 1.8.1-1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
I installed various applets (mate-power-manager, network-manager, etc.) Tehir
updates is only spoken by Orca if I restart it.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
I try to know the battery status, as well as the network status. I press
alt-ctrl-tab until "up panel", left arrow, f10/escape and left arrow.
I hear Orca saying that 2 hours remain in my bat!ery.
* What was the outcome of this action?
When I check again, 1 hour later, 2 hours are still mentioned!
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Orca should say "1 hour", without being restarted.
As well, it says "No network" but after restart, it speaks a connected network.
