Bug#769947: mate-terminal: Segfaults after update

More or less, doing some trial and error I discovered that using
desktopConfig instead of defaultConfig fixes magically the problem.

. I suppose there's some bug somewhere, but I'm happy for now- don't know
if Ben Whyall has the same problem or not.
