We are currently doing some bug triaging for the jessie release, and  
we (Martin Wimpress and I) decided that we will not work on fixing  
this issue.

caja-setndo works fine into MATE desktop sessions. Several of the caja  
add-ons are not designed to work outside a MATE desktop session.

Sorry and thanks for reporting this bug and using Debian.
