Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate ***
* What led up to the situation?
New install.
* What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
ineffective)?
System -> Preferences -> Sound. Sound effects tab. I choose Default.
Then I need to choose a tune, and its volume. I check the "sonar" one (tee
last). Then close.
* What was the outcome of this action?
The tune alert, when I type alt-f2 then backspace, is loud and the default
sound.
* What outcome did you expect instead?
Should be "sonar" and the volume I choosed.
