[Pkg-matrix-maintainers] Bug#897222: Please switch the package to Python 3

Hi,

Please build the package with Python 3 if possible, so that we reduce as much
as possible the number of packages using Python 2. Since this isn't a library,
there's no reason to keep it from using Python 3.
