Hey there.  I was alerted to this bug by a user earlier.  I wanted to reach out to mention that I have started maintaining a fork of nheko located at:
https://github.com/Nheko-Reborn/nheko

I'm hoping to get a new release out shortly (the current release is still 0.6.2 from the old repo).  I need to finish up the current set of features for the 0.6.3 release (want to verify performance and stability for a bit before committing to a new version).

Hopefully the Debian package can continue being maintained from the new fork.
