Upstream changes wouldn't render this bug moot; the Debian packaging of
autotools-based packages should always update config.guess/config.sub
regardless, so that we don't need new upstream versions or manual
patches in order to bring up new architectures.  See
/usr/share/doc/autotools-dev/README.Debian.gz.
