Here you are:

1. The build dependency mozilla-devscripts needs to be versioned. Please
have a look at http://wiki.debian.org/mozilla-devscripts 

2. d/control: Instead of (>= 8.0.0~) you can simply use (>= 8).

3. Please mention firefox in the description (Iceweasel ->
Iceweasel/Firefox)

4. Can you add a '.patch' extension to your patch in debian/patches?
