Your package is team-maintained, do you know what that means? everyone
on the team is enabled to touch / modify / upload team's packages. In
addition to that, I found Fabrizio's work definitely not invasive, he
didn't touch anything besides the copyright file and the new upstream
release we had to package sooner or later.
I think you should be thankful to the people on the team who spend
time and energies to make all this happen.

We do have an IRC channel where most of the work happens, we do have a
commits mailing list where every single commit the team does on a
specific branch gets logged. Every team member should be aware of the
tools we use to get in touch with each other, but apparently you never
joined our IRC channel nor you subscribed to the commits list.
cheers,
Andrea
