Package: xul-ext-requestpolicy
Version: 0.5.24-1
Severity: normal

Hello maintainers of xul-ext-requestpolicy package,
thanks for maintaining this extension in Debian!

The current debian/copyright file of this package claims that
all shipped files are under a license labelled as "MPL-1.1 or GPL-3".

The description of this label, however, seems to correspond to
a classical MPLv1.1/GPLv2/LGPLv2.1 tri-license.

This seems to be inconsistent.

Moreover, the final paragraph states:

| On Debian systems the full text of the GNU General Public License Version 3
| can be found in the `/usr/share/common-licenses/GPL-3' file.
| The full text of the MPL is in the same directory as this file with the
| filename MPL and may be compressed.

which seems to be inaccurate, since there's no MPL text in
/usr/share/common-licenses/

  $ ls /usr/share/common-licenses/
  Apache-2.0 BSD GFDL-1.2 GPL GPL-2 LGPL LGPL-2.1
  Artistic GFDL GFDL-1.3 GPL-1 GPL-3 LGPL-2 LGPL-3

A quick glance at the git repository
http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-mozext/requestpolicy.git;a=summary
seems to reveal that some files are under the GPLv3 license,
while other ones are under the MPLv1.1/GPLv2/LGPLv2.1 tri-license.
Further special cases may exist: I haven't performed a full license
audit on the package...

Please fix the debian/copyright file, so that it reflects the actual
copyright information and distribution licenses for the files included
in the package.

Thanks for your time!
