Package: xul-ext-firetray
Version: 0.4.8-1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
FireTray can notify the user when a new mail is received. The normal Icedove icon displayed in the tray is then supposed to become an envelope icon with a star. However, as reported in #719545, the icon supposed to signify new mail is replaced with a red cross.
After installing evince, things started to work as intended for me. I realized that xul-ext-firetray simply depends on gnome-icon-theme without declaring any dependency on it.
In a sense, this is a configuration problem, but one with the default configuration, about which the user is never prompted. A simple reconfiguration can work around the issue, so I do not consider this as a serious issue.
The issue was reported upstream in #119. I suppose upstream will add an icon for future versions. Meanwhile, we could temporarily declare a dependency on gnome-icon-theme.
