Hey, I have made a new package, which hopefully will soon be approved and uploaded to Debian.

If you can't wait a few days, you can build it from source yourself here:

(If you don't know how to do this, look it up on the internet; sorry but I don't have time to provide support for this.)

Sorry, but I don't see a good reason to rush the normal Debian process (10 days from stable to testing) here. You'll have to wait; the policy is in place for good reasons, and I don't think this case is special enough to override those reasons.
