[Pkg-mozext-maintainers] Bug#795361: xul-ext-tabmixplus: Quiting and searching fail to work with iceweasel from security.debian.org

Package: xul-ext-tabmixplus
Version: 0.4.1.5.2-1
Severity: important

Yesterday iceweasel was updated from stable.debian.org to version
38.2.0esr-1~deb8u1. Since then, at least two (basic) things fail
to work:

a) File->Quit does *nothing*

b) The search bar (right of the adress bar) seems to get entries (i.e.
   search terms) but no actual search is done. Neither works with
   google nor with duckduckgo.com.

Running iceweasel with -safe-mode *or* disabling this extension
returns the above mentioned functionality.

I read through #775645, however, dom.indexeddb.enabled is set to
"true", so I'm not sure if this is actually the same bug or something
different.

If you need further information do not hesitate to ask.
