Thanks, i think this is the right thing to do, particularly since i'm
unable to reproduce the problem and haven't yet gotten the requested
followup info from Praveen.

(i've also just tagged this bug unreproducible and moreinfo)

If anyone else can reproduce it, i'd be happy to hear about it.
