Package: mpd
Version: 0.17.1-1
Severity: important
Tags: patch

Hi,

after initial installation (that creates /run/mpd) + reboot, /run/mpd
does not exist anymore, so starting the mpd service with systemd
results in:

mpd[1313]: daemon: could not create pid file "/var/run/mpd/pid": No such file or directory
systemd[1]: mpd.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1
systemd[1]: mpd.service: main process exited, code=exited, status=1
systemd[1]: Unit mpd.service entered failed state.

Please consider applying the attached patch, that makes it so
systemd's tmpfiles.d mechanism creates /run/mpd at boot time, if it
does not exist yet.

Thank you for maintaining systemd in Debian!

Cheers,
