Hi Stefan,

I forwarded your feature request to the upstream bug tracker, but still
I suspect it would help your cause tremendously if you could provide a
patch. MPD itself seems to provide what you're looking for (see protocol
documentation at http://www.musicpd.org/doc/protocol/ch02.html), so it's
"just" that mpc lacks a way to address this functionality. You may also
want to investigate other commandline clients such as pimpd2
(http://github.com/trapd00r/pimpd2, not in Debian), which supposedly
have support for queuing.
