Ooh, finally a Gtk3 mpd client! I should try that out...

python-mpd2 is meant to be a drop-in replacement for python-mpd, unless
someone is using the rather obscure "stickers" API. If grepping for
"sticker" doesn't return anything, then sonata and fookebox would
probably Just Work.

I have a computer that could benefit from running a web-based mpd
frontend, so I'll try out fookebox and see whether it works with
python-mpd2. I suspect it does.

I'll take a look at this, thanks. I am a Debian Developer, so I could
sponsor uploads or co-maintain if you want. Would that be OK?
I was considering asking to join pkg-mpd-maintainers already...

python-mpd2 should be called python[3]-mpd in Debian, because you still
"import mpd" to use it, and the naming convention for Python in Debian
is python[3]-<the main name you import>. Similarly, I think it should be
a progression from (direct replacement for) python-mpd, not a distinct
source package, assuming there's no reason why anyone would want to
retain the old unmaintained version. That's why I contacted this bug
instead of just packaging the fork separately.
