I absolutely agree with you! Maybe you know that Daniel Baumann and I
already prepared some unofficial codecs packages for such a purpose [1].
I care about transcode because it can be used by k3b and other programs
for, well, transcoding. ;)
One (hopefully) last question about the libquicktime changelog: Should I
close the already-closed-in-unstable bugs in the latest changelog entry
(2:1.0.0+debian-4) or in the first entry for the upstream version that
actually fixed them (2:1.0.0+debian-1, maybe even 1:0.9.10+debian-1)?
