invitation to join the pkg-multimedia Alioth project

   Hi Guus,

   since you intend to adopt libraw1394 and our project has at least
three packages (ffmpeg, vlc, libquicktime) that build-depend on it and
some others that are closely related, I thought you might want to join
us in this project.

   The way we work is by having all packages in an SVN repository, a
common Maintainer field, and the "real" maintainer(s) in the Uploader
field. We usually don't touch packages we do not maintain, but sometimes
fix minor stuff in them, or help when the usual maintainer isn't
available. If this is not the way you like to work, then it's all right;
otherwise, tell me and I'll add you to the Alioth project.

   Also, packages such as vlc would definitely enjoy more attention if
you are willing to help.
