Hi,
it would be very useful if you could add some documentation in the
README.Debian file about what encoders have been disabled and how to
build a full version of the package!

Would it be possible to distribute the full source package (without
stripping) and then choose whether to build patented encoders at build time?

Is the problem with patents just using the patented algorithm, or also
distributing the source code of an implementation?

PS: i have increased the bug severity to "minor", according to the
