Some (naive) comments:
Is it right to mark a bug as closed when the rebuild hasn't reach the
archive for any arch. Shouldn't we just mark the bug as pending and let
the bug be closed automatically with a close: #447667 in the changelog
of the binNMU?

Is there a way to know how far in the queue is vlc to be rebuilt?
