Hello,
according to the information within the vlc and vlc-nox package in
Debian testing (sid) this e-mail address is listed as packet
maintainer, so I guess I have to address this issue to you:
I use Debian sid with up to date package list (last update a few minutes
ago) an try to install vlc or vlc-nox. All dependencies except the
following two can be resolved:
libcdio6
libiso9660-4
There are more recent versions of these libraries available:
libcdio7 (version 0.78.2+dfsg1-1)
libiso9660-5 (version 0.78.2+dfsg1-1)
Since vlc is included in "Debian sid" and there are more recent packages
available I guess it is just a mistake in the definition of the
dependencies.
Will this be fixed in the near future?
Best regards,
Steffen Clausjuergens
PS: I use only the default apt-sources.
deb http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ sid main
deb-src http://ftp.debian.org/debian/ sid main
