I have sent your patch to the libquicktime-devel mailinglist yesterday. 
Although this is 24 hours ago now, my post is still not shown in the 
list. Maybe it is still stuck in some spam-filter. It feels unusual to 
send a patch directly to a mailing-list, but OTOH they have no bug 
tracker set up at sourceforge and I have no CVS-access, so what else 
should I do...

Also yesterday I have already responded to you in another email from my 
lycos.de-account. They seem to have serious bandwidth problems over 
there. The email's content was about the same as what I am currently 
writing. I am curious when this message will arrive to the list.

However, I will fly to Fuerteventura for a week of holidays on Thursday, 
so I won't be able to have a look at this issue until about October 
15th. Have a nice time though. :D
