VLC Won't start cause gnome 2.20 libgnomebreakpad.so

 I doubt this is really caused by libgnomebreakpad.so; VLC crashes on
 startup because of a bug in the wxwidget2.6 library which has a patch
 in the BTS.  This bug has been reported multiple times against VLC.

 You can workaround the crash by setting G_SLICE in your env:
    G_SLICE=always-malloc vlc

 The libgnomebreakpad issues are being worked on, if you want to hide
 the warnings, you can unset "GTK_MODULES" in your env.
