Lets see the diff:

the only change is in debian/rules, which does not affect the binary
package at all. It does not seem pretty important to me. Any particular
reason why that package should be updated?

As for uploading to unstable, sorry, I don't want to block the way via
unstable for potential updates to the package in lenny.
