Remove libmpeg1 ?!

Dear Team-Mates,

while fixing #484972 for libmpeg1 yesterday, I realized that no single 
package in the Debian archive does depend on libmpeg1 nor build-depend 
on libmpeg-dev anymore. Furthermore there are at least two other 
libraries in the archive that serve the purpose of decoding MPEG 
files, namely mpeg2dec and libmpeg3.

Are there any objections against removing libmpeg1 from the archive?
