Well, I am not quite sure either. Maybe we should branch out from the 
-8 upload and do another upload with only the Conflicts and Replaces 
against Marillat's packages to get at least this change into Lenny? 
I'd also like to get the additional ffmpeg-doc package into lenny, but 
I fear it won't make its way through NEW within a few hours...

Whatever, as long as there are no complaints about missing optimized 
shared libraries we should be as careful as possible in this regard.
