Allright, it's next on the list.
I have just tried to build the new upstream snapshot you provided -
with DEB_BUILD_OPTIONS=risky and all of the unofficial codecs enabled.
After some tweaking everything worked flawlessly, instead for some
soname inconsistencies between the Debian packages and the libraries
which led to some warnings during 'debian/rules binary' (but I guess
you expected this allready, since decision about the sonames isn't
finished yet).
I have created the get-orig-source rule but I am not able to try it
out myself because obviously the mplayerhq-Server is blocked by our
firewall or similar. :/
Then I have changed to versioning scheme from 0.cvs* to 0.svn* since
we actually do not obtain sources from CVS anymore.
Am I allowed to commit my changes?
Cheers,
Fabian
PS: Can we please get rid of this silly '-free' suffix in the source
package name? We allready have discussed about it: Debian's ffmpeg is
not even a bit more free than others'; and if there were potentially
non-free codecs in the code, we do still ship them but simply keep
them disabled.
