I am responsible for the gmerlin work. I needed some packages from Marillat's 
so I asked him if I could use them. 

I believe he will be very happy if we push as much packages as possible from 
his repositories into debian.

Packages are generally in a very good shape and only need few lintian 
polishing, and, of course, a licence check specific for debian.
