Version: 0.9.8a-2

Reproducable with (older version from) unstable. stderr output is
attached. It seems something's wrong with the timing. VLC spits out

[00000480] main audio output warning: buffer is 67427 late, triggering
upsampling
[00000480] main audio output warning: output date isn't PTS date,
requesting resampling (44881)

with varying numbers just before every hiccup.

It's not going away after clearing ~/.cache/vlc, ~/.vlc doesn't exist.
I also cleared out ~/.config/vlc and set audio output to pulse (alsa
is mute, for some reason...), but the hiccups are still there.
