I get only a few mails every few days in this folder. But I'm also
filtering rather aggressively.

I don't think there is much that we can do. The mailing list address is
published in many packages we maintain, so it is rather public. Loïc
mentioned that he disabled moderation of non-subscribers because the
moderation queue grows rather fast these days.
