I don't use gnash, but I'm unable to reproduce this bug with youtube-dl
and ffplay either. Most likely gnash is passing garbage to libavcodec.

If you still think this is a bug in ffmpeg, please follow the ffmpeg bug

Without a reproducable testcase, there is nothing we can do. A link to
some youtube page is *not* helpful for me nor ffmpeg developers.
