I haven't look a lot and very far but i haven't found a reference
about /usr/lib/altivec in the FHS and i haven't look how other distros
do.
That is for distro who have a powerpc port and support G3.

Yes i believe it's a bug but I haven't had time to enter it into trac
and hassle the ones-who-know.
