Old versions of libavcodec still have soname 51, so it should be 
sufficient to recommend libavcodec52 to make sure the library is new 
enough. With the new internal ffmpeg dependencies this will pull in 
the right libavformat package as well.

So I also believe Breaks should not be necessary.
