Dear Bernhard,

the reference documentation for the stable 1.2 releases can be found 
here: <http://audacity.sourceforge.net/onlinehelp-1.2/reference.html>

The documentation is not part of the audacity source tarball and we 
are currently not making plans to package it separately.
