better, but there are still problems found by lintian:
>> lintian -I -i rumor_1.0.3b-1_i386.changes
I: rumor: hyphen-used-as-minus-sign usr/share/man/man1/rumor.1.gz:65
N:
N: Manual page seems to contain a hyphen where a minus sign was intended.
N: "-" chars are interpreted as hyphens (U+2010) by groff, not as minus
N: signs (U+002D). Since options to programs use minus signs (U+002D), this
N: means for example in UTF-8 locales that you cannot cut&paste options,
N: nor search for them easily.
N:
N: "-" must be escaped ("\-") to be interpreted as minus. If you really
N: intend a hyphen, write it as "\(hy" to emphasise that fact. See groff(7)
N: and especially groff_char(7) for details, and also the thread starting
N: with
N: http://lists.debian.org/debian-devel/2003/debian-devel-200303/msg01481.h
N: tml
N:
N: If you use some tool that converts your documentation to groff format,
N: it might be possible that this tool converts dashes of any kind to groff
N: hyphens, while the safe way of converting dashes is usually to convert
N: them to "\-".
N:
N: Because this error can occur very often we show only the first 10
N: occurrences for each man page and give the number of suppressed
N: occurrences. If you want to see all warnings, run lintian with the
N: -d/--debug option.

W: rumor: description-synopsis-might-not-be-phrased-properly
N:
N: The synopsis (first line in the package "Description:" field, the short
N: description) ends with a full stop "." character. This is not necessary,
N: as the synopsis doesn't need to be a full sentence. It is recommended
N: that a descriptive phrase is used instead.
N:
N: Note also that the synopsis is not part of the rest of the
N: "Description:" field.
N:
N: Refer to Debian Policy Manual section 3.4.1 (The single line synopsis)
N: for details.
N:
N: Severity: normal, Certainty: possible
N:
W: rumor: extended-description-line-too-long
N:
N: One or more lines in the extended part of the "Description:" field have
N: been found to contain more than 80 characters. For the benefit of users
N: of 80x25 terminals, it is recommended that the lines do not exceed 80
N: characters.
N:
N: Refer to Debian Policy Manual section 3.4.1 (The single line synopsis)
N: for details.
N:
N: Severity: normal, Certainty: certain
N:
W: rumor: info-document-missing-dir-section usr/share/info/rumor.info.gz
N:
N: This info document has no INFO-DIR-SECTION line and no --section option
N: is passed to install-info in the package postinst maintainer script.
N: install-info will be unable to determine the section into which this
N: info page should be put. The best solution is to add a line like:
N:
N: @dircategory Development
N:
N: to the texinfo source so that the generated info file will contain a
N: section. See /usr/share/info/dir for sections to choose from.
N:
N: Another alternative that doesn't require modifying the source is to
N: explicitly pass a --section option to install-info in the postinst
N: maintainer script, although in this case you will need to write the
N: postinst yourself and not use tools like debhelper to do it for you.
N:
N: Refer to Debian Policy Manual section 12.2 (Info documents) for details.

N: Severity: normal, Certainty: certain
