recently I exchanged a few emails with Diego; we would like to have a
better convergence of "Debian debian/" and "upstream debian/"
one step he asked would be to *not* rename or remove "upstream debian/"
this must be thought of carefully , since there are some files in
"upstream debian/" that are not in ours; and the standard mechanism of
dsc+diff.gz+orig.tar.gz cannot delete files; and some tools (debhelper,
dpkg-buildpackage) use "existence of files" as a trigger, etc etc
