Well, it would be less of a problem if you have chosen 0.5+svn20090318
as outlined in my mail instead of what you have choosen:
0.5.svn20090318. That choice is poor, because what do you intend to do
if upstream decides to release 0.5.1? bump the epoch yet another time?

What makes me really sad is not that you did not even care to tell us
that you are switching your source package again from ffmpegcvs to
ffmpeg and bumping epoch without even telling us in advance. so that
makes me wonder if you are interested in collaboration at all, if you
don't even care to answer mails from others than me.
